Scheduling natural light family photography in Spokane, WA can be a little tricky when working around the nap & bed times of little ones. 99% of my natural light family sessions take place during Golden Hour. But in this case, that would be this little man’s bedtime. So we decided on a morning session, to capture beautiful natural lighting. This is the 2nd time I have had the privilege of working with the Hodgson family, and I just adore them so! Their little boy celebrated his 1st birthday a few months back so we incorporated Birthday photos as well. Isn’t he a handsome little guy full of personality?
In the planning stages of their session, we discussed location ideas. Their little one loves to run and play, so choosing the Liberty Lake Regional Park for the backdrop was perfect. It gave us space to run and play, sit and cuddle and stroll along. With multiple shooting spots we were able to move around instead of keeping the backdrop the same for each photo. This family is full of love for one another and I am so thankful they chose me to be their photographer.
